Hey,

Just wondering if anyone out there applied for the fall 2013 intake of psych nursing at douglas college? Or if you were accepted to the previous intake what your preferential score was? I just got mine today and I got a 12/20..Not sure if it will be enough to get me in or not:(

Ya this is taking soo long. I thought we would have heard something by now but nope. I also check my status like everyday but still says review for preferential review :(

I just checked and it says "offer made". Yay! So it shouldn't be too long for you guys :D

Oh my god congratulations!!!!! You must be bouncing off the walls!! How many points did you have?

omg!! That's fantastic!! :)

Thank you!!! And I just had 13 points and I know you guys had 11 and 12 right? So you should be hearing some good news soon too!

hopefully! still nothing for me :(

Hey Everyone,

hope you all get in! I am a male applicant hoping to get in the program in September I have 12 points and the wait is killing me! Anyone else hear back?

hope we all get good news soon!

AM

one person with 13 points has been accepted, and now you and another person both have 12. I have 11. You guys will be next to hear I guess, and then me (hopefully!).

I've been meaning to ask how old everyone is and how you got most of your points??

Still no news for me. I want to hear that I got in so that I can get legit excited and prepare for the challenge ahead.

I got my 12 points from having a previous degree and volunteer hours. I am 22 and male and awesome ;) I was told by Douglas that for the winter intake last year they were accepting people with 6 points but they would not say how many points needed for sept. intake.

Well, hopefully we all get the news we want.

Guys,

I e-mailed Douglas. I got this response:

"All the seat offers for the Pyschiatric Nursing Diploma and Degree have been given out. Applicants who have been ranked for preferential points but have not been given a seat offer are put on a waitlist in case a seat offer would open up at a later date. For the Degree program you are currently on this wait-list at position #__. Admissions is now waiting to see if applicants who have been given a seat offer will accept it and complete the additional admission requirements or not."

I took out the number I was given for privacy reasons, but it's in the top 20. So...now I panic.:(

I have heard nothing. This blows, I have 12 and if what they told you is correct than I haven't been accepted.

Hey guys,

Honestly don't worry you guys have enough points. Last sept they were accepting people with 7 points so your offers will come soon enough :)
