    For me mosby's is more helpful than lippincott's.. Lippincott's are more theory based, it's too straight to the point and does not exercise your critical thinking. Mosby's crne prep guide and CNA prep guide are really useful. I used the 3rd, 4th and 5th edition of prep guide. We also purchased the CNA readiness test.

    you can borrow the latest mosby prep guide from the local library.. i didn't buy the mosby and lippincott's.. i just borrowed from the mississauga central library.. and also in brampton library..

    Don't purchase that, that's more specific for NCLEX.

    Purchase the Readiness Test, it's really helpful. Really looks like the actual exam. And if u can get your hands on the CRNE prep guides 3rd, 4th and 5th edition, it's really helpful. You will master how to answer psychosocial questions. 1month prior the exam, I answered 600-700 questions everyday. Over and over, until I get 95-99% in all the exams. I answered mosby's prep guide, lippincotts, mosby's comprehensive exam for nurses (orange) and the latest one (blue and orange). I answered them all, and I take notes on all the items I got wrong, wrote the rationale and make sure I understand it. Also, I read more on the topics i'm weak at.

    IMPORTANT: Read the question carefully, know what is being asked. NEVER OVERTHINK.

    I passed both CPNRE (May 2012) and CRNE (Oct 2012).
