just wondering if anyone has taken the bsn to msn program at west coast, OR if they got their Bsn at west coast and transferred to a university for their msn. i do know west coast recently got WASC accredited which allows you to transfer post BSN..

i am an LVN considering going to West coast obviously for lvn to bsn. i already know the price, so please refrain from telling me its a bad idea and etc...

i like to plan ahead which is why i'm inquiring about BSN to MSN

I'm not sure if you wanna consider this.. But there's few schools that's more cheaper than WCU.. The first one is American University of Health Sciences. I believe its cheaper of 20K than WCU.. And there's a new bridge program from LVN-ADN at CNI college.. And if you're ok to do online program.. WEstern Gov University has BSN online program which waaaay cheaper than those two schools

If you attain a BSN from West Coast University, your best bet for graduate education at the MSN level will be other for-profit entities such as University of Phoenix.

Also check out Grand Canyon University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and , as these schools have been known to admit RNs who attended for-profit trade schools.

STAY AWAY FROM CNI, ITS AN ADN PROGRAM. Don't waste your time on the so called RN program. It's a new program and the college is not accredited by WASC. Which means your classes will not be accepted if you want to proceed into BSN status at a univeristy. The facility is not properly equipped and good luck learning anything as the teachers are just there acting as teachers but don't have proper teaching ethics. You are pretty much on your own unless you know how to self study. The staff is unprofessional and unresponsive. The place is unorganized. The president is worse as he hides when there are problems and questions that need to be solved or answered. Bottom line enter at your own risk or be stuck with a loan from a generic college you didn't gain anything from.

Well since a BSN from West Coast University is WASC accredited, alot of the Brick and Mortar schools like: cal states and UC's will accept it

I have a friend that graduated from WCU and just got accepted into a MSN program at UCLA. So just keep your GPA up, and you can transfer to another school for your MSN. Good luck :)
