Hello to all prospective UCLA Nurses!

My name is Matthew and I'm a CSU Long Beach alumnus.

I'm currently working as a Super User RN for the UCLA Health System.

I hope this thread will be able to answer our questions about the application, interview process and a place for any updates anyone receives for the 2013 new grad program.

With that said, I was told by recruitment that applications will be made available in March. :)

Kerri076: I was asked mostly behavioral questions like "tell me about a time you had a difficult patient" and a few clinical questions like "how would you take care of a heart failure patient". Hope that helps! The interviews were pretty straight forward.

There are not caps on the amount of applications they will accept. I was told this by the nurse recruiter. She also mentioned that the application will be up for the entire time that it is scheduled to be open. Hope this helps

How do you submit your letters of recommendation on the application? Do they email the people that you are getting your recommendation from or do you have to actually upload the letter?

I don't think there is a limit to the number of apps that they receive but there will be an online assessment that you must complete.

What does the online assessment consist of? Is it just one of those personality quiz things?

Just finished... and the answer is yes. lots of strongly agree/strongly disagree with some yes/no type questions

As soon as I completed the app, I was redirected to the assessment.
