Coriander-I will admit that I had a moment of weakness today (which is how I found this site), but I'm not really too stressed about the job hunt. I'm just praying that I get the right job for myself . . . of course I hope that this is it, but if not, what can I do?

Hi all!!! I am new to this forum but not to the site. I too had an interview on June 6 and feel as if I am going to lose my mind. Oh the stress!!!! I feel good about the way it went but you never know. UGH!!!!!!!!! Now every time the phone rings or I get an email my heart skips a beat. It is really hard to concentrate on anything else... To make a long story short, I feel all of your pain.

wish4msmc, That's a great attitude to have. I know we'll all find something that is just right for us. :)

Hi nauhjat! I'm glad to hear that your interview went well. It was actually a very good experience. They were great at putting me at ease.

Thanks Coriander! Yeah they were pretty good at easing the tension. It's just the waiting game that is killing me and it's only been a day for me. LOL. I have to think positive though.

So other than cuddling with our phones every night and wherever we go, are any of you also constantly checking the status of your app on scripps' website?

12 more days to go...hopefully they'll start calling a few days before the 20th.

Yes, I check the site at least once a day. My heart churns whenever I receive an email notification. The phone goes everywhere. :) Silly me.

Wow I thought it was just me. LOL... Yep I am guilty of checking my status at least two times a day. The other time is spent thinking about the interview and hoping I get a call not an email. Tic Toc Tic Toc. :uhoh3:

Hey gang,

I interviewed wednesday after working a 12 the night before. Not the best idea but it seemed to go quite well. Praying for everyone who interviewed. Don't stress, be confident in where God has brought you and where he is leading you. Take care!

hey gang,

i have been telling myself the same thing! "keep the faith" but this is because i honestly believe(d) that i "aced the interview" on wednesday. it went really well, everybody's body language was saying, "we love you!" (smiling, nodding in agreement to my responses, etc.).

then i just read the last couple of pages here and see that most of those interviewed feel pretty much the same way! guess i wasn't so special after-all! haha

i sent "thank-you emails, and received a response back from one of the interviewers who wrote:

"it was my pleasure to meet with you and discuss your possible future career at scripps. good luck to you in your professional endeavors and may our paths meet again!"

i've read it 10 times and can't decide if it's a "formed response" sent to all who send "thank you" emails, or if it's actually a "soft rejection" letter!

what do you all think? did anybody else receive the above reply in response to your "thank you for the interview...." email?
