*Hoping that this may be the year because I'm going no where fast in my current job field and I want to return to a profession that I have a passion for and am good at!!

=)

I'm new to allnurses, and I posted in response already but I'm not sure you can see it...

How are you going to make your decision between the two programs? Did you get into the FNP also or the CM?

Congrats on the acceptance and another kudos for your awesome stats; you should be very proud of yourself! Just out of curiosity, which ELMSN progarm did you apply for? I am slowly inching down the waitlist for the ELMSN CM program for Sac. ...and have you decided which program you are going for yet? Again, well done on your accomplishments! :-)

Congrats for acceptance. :yeah:

I received an email stating that my application was reviewed and that all my pre-reqs were completed.

I am thinking that you received a call so early because of your acceptance into both programs... If not, I do not know why they give us a timeline of mid-October when they are already calling those candidates who were accepted!!

What do you all think?

the mid-october date was for the san mateo absn spring cohort.....she received a call for the sac program, which seems to be a little ahead in the decision process...

I am assuming the same as you, Victory....She got into the harder program, so it seems like she would automatically be accepted into the BSN program as well...It also seems like many people apply to both so the waitlist for the ABSN may be forgiving...If the applicants who got accepted in to the ELMSN, also applied to the ABSN, and choose the ELMSN, then the waitlist will move up quickly...Here's to hoping, right?

Hi Mhfp,

I am sure that they are still reviewing the apps this week.

My stat is

Teas: 97.5% - Reading, 97.8%- Math

4.0 on all science (chem, biology)

I was already accepted into ELMSN so my application was reviewed already.

So, if the same people were reviewing ABSN applications, it makes a perfect sense that I may have received one of the early calls.

Anyway, don't worry. The calls will go out throughout this week and probably even into next week.

Good luck!!

Congrats on your acceptances!!!:yeah:

UGHHH, if Sac is ahead and people are already receiving calls, then I must be on the denial list... =(

*I applied to Sac.

All we know is that 1 person received a call (atmywindow), so think positively! All of us that applied to Sac may all get calls in the next few days!

Hi Victory 925, I am new on this page, but don't stress urself. I am sailing in the same boat!!!! I talked to ------- yesterday she told me that only top 20 students will receive call this weekend and accepted candidates will be hopefully informed by 1st week of oct. I am so stresses right now! Good luck to all!

Whew. See I didn't read through all the threads, I thought multiple individuals, including her, got calls and I was obviously being uber pessimistic, but now that we, at least on this board, only have one, I am feeling a bit more optimistic...

=)

i agree! think positively! it looks like there are a lot of us who haven't gotten calls yet there is no way we are all receiving denial letters. i'm sure they are very busy still reviewing applications at sac and it would be a lot of work to call everyone in one day. let's all cross our fingers and hope for the best and just keep each other informed. :-)

ckrs,

Thanks for the update! Did Sac happen to mention how many students they are offering admission to? 45ish perhaps?
