Hey everyone,

Has anyone heard from them for their acceptance or denial? I applied back in August and received an email back in September that I will be notified sometime next month. Its close to the end of October and still haven't heard anything.

Also if anyone wants to chime in on any experience with their program, please do.

Hi! I'm also waiting to hear back from LAPC. I think i will call tomorrow and ask because it's almost the end of the month and they were supposed to send letters of acceptance this month...

Hi Everyone. I also applied to LAPC and haven't heard back from them this month. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

Here's an update and the email I received:

October 29, 2013

Dear Student:

Thank you for applying to Los Angeles Pierce College Nursing Program.

The lottery has been completed, you will receive an email this week regarding your application status.

Due to high volume of calls we ask that you wait for your email regarding your status. If you don’t receive an email by Friday, November 1st, you can email [email protected] for more information.

Your patience is greatly appreciated as we are trying to notify each one of you in a timely manner.

I called --------------- yesterday and she said that they will be sending the letters at the end of this week. However, I got an email today and I got in!!! :D

Hey everyone! A bunch of e-mails were sent by the Nursing Department. Most of the health reqs are easy to come by; any idea where, if anywhere specific, we're supposed to get our background checks and drug tests?

Did you get the 3rd email? It looks like they're using certifiedbackground.com

We got A LOT of info today. I think I'm going to start a Pierce College Nursing Folder to keep things organized. Good luck everyone. I'm excited to meet you all :)
