  1. Did anybody's uniform ship yet from dove?
  2. Hi 2dawn, I have a few questions. How did you see the schedule? Also, did anyone else get a registration date for spring 2014? For some reason I don't have one even though I reapplied for spring. Does anybody know when registering for classes start? Just wanna make sure I'm not too late to call the admission and records.
  3. Hey guys, I have a question about the stuff in folder 2 to be due on 11/22. In regards to patches, uniform, lab kit, and rn badges; those don't need to be done by that date right? It says that those can be done on the date on those forms.
  4. Hey everyone, Has anyone heard from them for their acceptance or denial? I applied back in August and received an email back in September that I will be notified sometime next month. Its close to the end of October and still haven't heard anything. Also if anyone wants to chime in on any experience with their program, please do.
  5. They told me somewhere in the first week of December. Boy that'll be a great Christmas present!
  6. I managed to get all "B"s in all my prereqs so prereq GPA was a 3 and my teas score was 75.1%. Hopefully this all enough to be competetive for a seat in any of the school's programs . I try to keep a positive attitude because I had classmates who had Cs and Bs for their prereqs and a 65 to 70 for teas and yet some of them were able to be either accepted or be an alternative on their first try of applying. Maybe I'll be lucky... LA county is great. It's my first choice of school because i heard so much good stuff about their program. The nurses i work with say its rigorous, but well worth it because they say they prepare you better than any other nurse who graduated from any other program
  7. Hello to all nurses and future nurses! Is anybody applying to any of these colleges? College of the Canyons (COC) Glendale Community College (GCC) Los Angeles Pierce College (Pierce) Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) Los Angeles City College (LACC) Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health Moorpark College (Moorpark) Pasadena City College (Pasadena) I ask because I'm applying to all of these and was wondering if anybody in their programs could provide any feedback; how good the professors are, rating the program as whole, the toughness, the stress of it all, anything. It would be of great help to choose which school's program would be best. OH GOD I HOPE I AT LEAST GET ACCEPTED INTO ONE THEM! Applying to all of these in the past few weeks has been both exciting and stressful because, you know, its great that I can finally apply but will I be accepted. *sigh* My grades might not be the best and my TEAS V score may not be that high, but I can honestly say that I tried my best. I've hit some hard bumps on the way just to finish the prereqs, but I'm pumped to get started into nursing. Those bumps include traveling across counties just to get the classes required to being told that my completed 3 unit science class would not be accetable to any nursing program. I just hope that my hardwork wasn't for nothing. Anyways, I write this so that anybody who is applying to any of the schools listed could see the responses that others give. Cheers, batman1939
