Did you receive the email leading you to blackboard? Once you're logged into blackboard go to your courses and you'll see a link for bioethics and it'll take you to the class page where all the modules and instructions are...hope that helps :)

Am I the only one whose portal says:

Mount St. Mary's College Portal > Applicant

My application status says registration pending but I can't seem to register for classes as mentioned in the information packet... so I thought it might be because my account is still listed as an applicant? However, I am logging in as student\ so I am a bit confused as to why I am having difficulty.

It allows for me to search for the sections but I have no idea how to enroll myself into the courses. If anyone can provide step by step instructions, it would help so much! Otherwise, I would probably have to wait until the 5th to ask someone at the ABSN office for assistance

theres conflict with the schedules anyway, so everyone's really waiting til the 5th to have this clarified

You can click on register/search for sections under the summer 2013 absn classes and you can check off the classes you want to sign up for which are listed in the packet we got. My status also says registration pending as well. I can't seem to enroll in one of the classes is anyone else having this issue?

Thank you @mima7 for the details. It looks like my portal has a lot issues. I had to call it in for service with the help desk since it doesn't allow for me to check off the classes like you mentioned. I think you are having problems enrolling into the class because the time conflicts with another class. I read from other students they noticed this issue so I would wait until they fix it

I too hope to be in the same boat one day :) I am still working through my prereqs and I am planning to apply some time in the future. Any advice as to how I can make my application strong? The kind of GPA they are looking at etc? Any advice is much appreciated :) Thanks

Hey aleong29! thanks for getting back to me. I couldn't reply to your pm because i do not have 15 post I think I read somewhere in this thread that you live in Temple City, which is the city I live in! Just wondering if you could recommend the best hospital to volunteer at around this area. I was looking at Monterey Park Hospital (because it is close to ELAC) and also Methodist Hospital in Arcadia. Any thoughts? Thanks!
