LACC vs COC

U.S.A. California

I got accepted to LACC and COC for fall 2014. Any recommendation about either of them ??

Well, since you already completed all the requirements for COC, and it is closer to you, why not go there? Both LACC and COC are equally good programs; for me, it all comes down to how close a college is. Spending hours stuck in traffic is not an ideal scenario during nursing school. You want to be as rested and fresh as possible for your classes and clinicals. LAVC doesn't have a collab program

I got accepted to lacc as well for the fall semester is there anything else we need to complete besides the medical package they send in June?

We will find out everything when we get the package in June, but besides medical clearance, we will of course have to complete a BLS course for health care providers, fire and safety course, drug screening test, buy an insurance for nursing students. Uniforms, books etc will be discussed in August during the boot camp. Here's the link to LACC forum.

You are right. Since I found this forum , I am most likely to start in COC. But I am still waiting to LAVC notification letter.
