It depends on the school you are planning on attending.. For example lacc does not have a waiting program they have a lottery. Which means once you meet all their requirements you will be placed in a pool of other students who have also completed the same requirements and will be selected randomly and I think the students with the numbers between I believe 1-40 will be accepted to the program the others will be placed on an alternate list and if someone gives up their position or under other circumstances have for fitted their position then students on the alternate list will be placed in their position.. But after that semester begins the list is over and students will have to apply again.. The trick is to apply to more than one school to increase your chances of getting accepted to at least one program.First you need to figure out what school you what to go to and do your research on what their requirements are and go from there..
