CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

http://www.csulb.edu/colleges/chhs/departments/nursing/docs/PoolStatsFall11.pdf

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Specializes in L&D.

Hey for those of you who are waiting to hear from SDSU before deciding, what reasons do you have for choosing SD first? Just location, or have you heard better things about that program?

Thanks for the encouraging words naniinasci. I also applied to sacramento, so I'm hoping to get in there. Good Luck with SDSU!

CluelessNursingGuy- My score is 9.086 and as i mentioned previously I am alternate 15

I'm a non-transfer and I got my e-mail. I hate to sound ungrateful, but with all this build-up and stressing out, getting this e-mail today is so anti-climatic...

For those who got in, please re-state your stats-- your score of of 10.

For alternates, please list your rank number and your stats as well. I want to figure out the cut-off score.

I got 9.61/10 and I'm a CC transfer.

I live at San Diego so it'd be cheaper for me.

Yup I'm a transfer

I think I had 9.45/10 (or higher if they took my other chem class) and got accepted as a transfer.

@CluelessI felt the exact same way. When I checked my email this morning, I wasn't even excited anymore.

But I am still grateful, but now I don't know if i'm going to choose here anymore. It was my number 1 choice but i'm starting to change my mind.

I am a transfer student from CSUEB. My score was about 9.3

@Emily..Don't Lose Hope! :) I also applied to Sac, so I am waiting for their decision also before I make my final decision

So, if I don't go to LB, a spot will be available for anyone on the waiting list :)

My stats = 9.64/10

@ella.more - I am from San Diego too... so I'd rather stay locally than have to move to Long Beach.

I am a CC transfer and I believe I had a 9.7/10

Questions to those who want to stay local:

If you don't mind me asking, why do you think it is better to stay home when you go to the nursing program instead of move?

I am trying to make a final decision, so just want to hear some feedback.

Thanx Guys!

I'm in too. I'm not a transfer though.
