on Indeed.com, Corona Regional Medical Center wanna hire RN New Grad to be Clinical Partner (= CNA). I guess the economy is not getting better anytime soon!

Carreont: did you have to take an assessment test?

Just received a call for an interview at Corona. Good luck to those who applied.

I don't know anyone that works at the hospital. I don't know how many people they are interviewing or or many they are hiring. I will be asking lots of questions tomorrow because I am still unsure of what the position actually entails.

Hopefully I can get more information tomorrow. Good luck! All she told me to bring was my resume.

Well I got a call today for an assessment test...........did you have to take and assessment test? The info I got was that there are 10 positions that are open 5 day and 5 night. The job consists of doing CNA work including sitting, bathing so on and so on......start pay is CNA pay. Good luck tomorrow!

I wasn't told about an assessment test. I was just told to bring in my resume. Also, if we're only doing CNA work why do we need an RN license to apply? How much is CNA pay?

Specializes in Couplet Care/Newborn Nursery.

I wasn't told about an assessment test either.

MMC10: When is your assessment test?

When I find out more information tomorrow I will post it.

My assessment test is Friday. They probably have their own system of picking and choosing who takes the test. I was told that after the assessment test (if I pass) is an interview and if that goes well then I get a panel interview. Please let me know how the interview went.......what kind of questions they ask.......if everything goes well this would be my first interview.

Carreont: For the new grad rn care partner program i was told the start pay 10 something I can't recall the exact cents.

Is the position still open? Can't find it in their website.

Thanks!

i wonder if the assessment test is the same as the assessment that I took when I applied with Reancho Springs. They're both under the universal health system. The test from what I can remember asked situational type questions and it was a multiple choice test that took some time to complete. Well for me it did.:D

I believe it is the same test because she had mentioned during my interview that I had taken the test in Oct at Rancho Springs. It isn't really an assessment that you can study for. Like carreont mentioned it is a lot of situational questions that require some thinking, but not too difficult.

Awww! = ( Thanks MMC10! ;)

I think the interview went well. Hopefully I make it to phase 3 (panel interview). I'm really excited now.

People may want to kill me after this comment but I think more hospitals should follow the same process. Have you come in and learn the ropes then move you on to the next level.
