Quickly before they close it down due to floods of applicants! I'm just saying that because you don't want to lose out like many did with Cedars.

Thanks for the info guys! Did you all rewrite the reason you would like to work for CHOC and what the mission means to you?
I kind of just took it from my cover letter and tried to make it fit into the amount of characters allowed. Hopefully they will just transfer everything from my first application. That was so much better.

Is anyone having trouble submitting the essays?? Mine keep saying they're over the limit but I thought they had to be under 150 words and both of mine are?
Thanks again everyone!

Other people have said it's 150 CHARACTERS and not words (characters including spaces). That means, one or two sentences max.
oh wow really! That's dumb that it says a paragraph but they only take a sentence! Well thanks again for the heads up!!
No problem. Whoever designed (and implemented) the site at this stage when new grads are still trying to put in their apps are silly. It's not new-grad friendly at all.
Have fun editing that paragraph down to the barest.

This is ridiculous. You can't even write a well-written full sentence!
I saw on the FB New Grad group that someone got a phone call for an interview today with CHOC. Anyone else hear anything?
Maybe it's CHOC's version of twitter. And they're probably thinking, hey! we're giving you 10 extra characters to work with.

Are you finding new grad positions? I am not seeing anything. How do we reapply???
They were on the new site for a few hours. But, not all the departments were listed. Now, there's nothing listed.
It's very confusing.
Someone posted earlier that you just go to the new site and post your resume. After that, the IT/HR will "merge" your application from the old to the new, assuming you were still in the running. Whether this is true or not, it's worth a shot.

I called HR and finally got through a few days ago and I got the same response as the other person did. They said to just register on the new site and they will match the two up and merge your old app into the new one. Hope this helps!
