Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

U.S.A. California

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

Any Cohort 3 or Cohort 4 updates today??

Cohort 3 won't be hearing back until July 15...the wait is ridiculous!

Wow! Their process has really slowed down! I guess because they're on their last group.

Applied for Cohort 4, and just got a rejection email. Good luck all!

I got a rejection email as well... :( good luck to everyone who applied..

And I got a rejection email....best of luck to everyone. Stay hopeful for the rest of us, we will find a job!

Rejection as well. Maybe they are not considering those that have applied to previous cohorts this time around. Bummer... On to the next.

I'm hoping they sent out the letters to everyone because they posted the job a month early. But that's wishful thinking on my end

Hi! Question for people who have interviewed for cohorts 1, 2, and 3:

Does anyone know the units that we are able to choose from? Is it just the nursing specialties listed on the webpage under med-surg? Or are there more options we can put for out "area of interest"?

Whos dreadfully waiting for JULY 15 raise your hand!!! Lol

Did I miss Cohort 4 app period?!?! I remember looking for it on the website but I couldn't find it!! Ugh!

An App went up on June 24th, but no one has reported getting a call back from it, only rejection emails. There is theory it went out too early, but unconfirmed.
