Hello all,

I'm applying to APU's NP program this January and am sooo excited and nervous! I'm really trying to get accepted to start in Fall 2011 as I don't want to wait until spring 2012. This is my first choice (I've already applied to another school here) and I've GOT to get in! Is anybody out there waiting for decisions or has advice for the application process? I would've applied sooner, but they just implemented a rule where you have to have 12 completed credits for science, so I had to wait until grades got posted.

Don't give up, I was in your seat last year. I only applied to 2 schools last year and didn't get in anywhere, I was devastated and felt like a complete loser. This year, I got into 6 schools. Don't give up! Keep your head up and it will happen for you :)

KKandes, thank you so much for your encouragement. It's so devastating when that's your dream! I'm trying my best to not throw in the towel! Congrats on getting into so many schools, that must be an amazing feeling!

Hi! I was just accepted to the ELM program for fall '12 at the SD campus! Originally, I applied to spring 2013 but the spots were full so they accepted me for summer 2013. But I called yesterday morning and they now have spots open for this fall! For the people who were accepted and want to start sooner, call Jeanee Tuckness and reserve a spot for the fall before they're gone! You need to have all your prereqs done btw. Also, if anyone is looking for a roommate let me know! :)

Carly, thanks for the tip. I was also accepted for Summer 2013 at the IE campus, but thanks to you, I will be starting Fall 2012 at the SD campus.

Carly, I did the same. I got accepted for Summer 2013 and found spot for Fall. Happy to see you in SD.

Hey guys. The same happened to me! I applied for Spring in SD but got accepted for Summer instead. They called me last monday and said there was a spot opened in Fall 2012 at the Azusa Campus and I took it! It still feels surreal. Have you gotten anything in the mail yet? Oh and is there a FB group for the fall cohort? I tried searching it and there was "cohort 23" and "cohort 20". I have no idea what year that is. COngrats everyone!

I am SO glad we all go in for an earlier semester in SD and everything worked out! I'm really excited to meet all of you and get started with nursing grad school!!
