Anyone applying at Saddleback college?

U.S.A. California

Hi I was just wondering if anyone is applying to saddleback college for spring 07. We can share our thoughts and make the waiting a little more pleasant. In my case is going to be the longest of my life !!!!

Do you know someone allready accepted in the program or how many people actually get in with A's and also B's ? Or they really just accept straight A's?

I just called yesterday as well and they said the same thing to me too! Just out of curiosity how many points out of the 100 does everyone have? This will be my second time applying and I am just hoping I get in. Good luck to everyone!

I just got my acceptance letter to saddleback for spring 2011 on saturday =) anyone else get theirs yet?

I got an acceptance letter on Saturday too, but I'll be turning it down so there is one more open spot for someone else. I've been accepted into my first choice school (BSN).

I received my letter on Saturday as well and I will be accepting! Does anyone know any stats for the applicants? I was told there were only about 180 applicants but I don't know the range of points across the board. Just thankful I got in, good luck to everyone!

I just accepted the invitation today =) I'm not sure on the stats either, it would be interesting to know them.

Ok so apparently the Highest points was 85, and the lowest score for someone that got accepted was 69.

Where did you get that information from?

According to the rejection letters people received, the range of scores from applicants was 29-91.

According to the program director, and I'm quoting, the cut off for acceptance was:

"So far it is in the 50's. People will decline"

My friend who unfortunately didn't get accepted this round had an in-depth conversation with the nursing counselors in the office

Hmm... I don't know what to say. I emailed the Nursing Program Director

and that is what she told me.

Ah, well I don't know whichever is correct. I was merely reporting what my friend stated. So it could be incorrect.

Hi Everyone!

I am beginning my pre-requisites for Saddleback College in Spring 11. I will be starting with Micro and Speech and hopefully Math. I have almost 50 units at Saddleback and OCC already. I wanted to get more feedback on the applicants who were accepted for Spring 11. What were your points? How many people applied? How do you like the program? I think that by the time I am finished with my pre-reqs I should be applying for Fall of 2012. I would be applying for Spring of 2012 if they allowed you to apply while you are completing your last semester of pre-reqs, I think that would really help. The more I read on this forum regarding Saddleback, the more I get nervous. Are any of you volunteering at any hospitals? Did you take extra courses to qualify for the program?

Good luck to each and every one of you. I know that this process is especially tasking on you mentally and emotionally. I wish you all the best!

Hi All,

I would like to know how much those who are in the program like it. I'm in High School and looking around for a Nursing program I would like to go into in the future. I have taken some classes at Saddleback (Sign Language 1, 2, 3, and going into 4. Which are all in the Health Science building coincidentally) So I sort of have a feel for the school and a good amount of credits to my name. But I want to go a 4 year college and get away from home. Do you think it would be worth it for me to stay home for Saddleback or should I go chance it somewhere else?
