You must dig deeper than this superficial level of analysis. Think about WHY they're moving overseas. It's because it costs a hell of a lot less to do so when theyre not subject to the crippling regulatory policies of the left-wing in this country. Land and labor are cheaper, which equal larger profits, and at times those extra profits are what is needed simply to keep a company from going under due to the policies here. It's not as hostile and toxic of an economic environment as was created here in the united states by our politicians. Where-ever businesses have a friendly environment for growth, they will choose to go there. I dont agree with them outsourcing overseas, it ruins this country, however you must look deeper and realize why they are doing so. Theres a reason for everything. The proper people to blame are not the corporations, it's our government for conistently overstretching their boundaries and infringing on our lives both privately and in the business world.

Know your history and politics before you protest. Every single individual out in the occupy movement is misguided and clueless. Blame the people who are directly responsible for the problem instead of causing a wasted, and at times treasonous, disturbance. If you really want to make a difference, go vote, or at least move the protest to the whitehouse, the problem lies solely there.

In defense and clarification. The reason this wonderous relief will cost the tax payer money is because the money that the students are saving in their loan repayments is paid for by tax-payers. Any time you hear of government stimulus, relief,and aid, it's coming from the tax pool. From the public finances. You cannot just magically get something paid for, the money comes from somewhere and it sure itsn't coming from Obama's pocket. An additional point of clarification: the reason FLdoula stated that anytime the government gets involved is bad is generally because it's true. Government involvement = regulation = cost/burden on tax payer + cost/burden on business = failing economy. Now politicians are using the failing economy that they themselves caused to self-proclaim themselves as hero's coming to the rescue with relief and aid. It's the ultimate hypocrisy.

It's most likely retaliation or seeking to prove to herself that she can have fun on her own accord. I wouldn't think much of it since she's newly divorced, whatever makes her happy.

For the first term, lecture was only one day a week on wednesday. N170 has two clinical days per week and the days depend which ones they assign you (you dont pick your clinical location or days for first term). After 10 weeks of that, you end that class and start N171 Mental Health Nursing, that one has one clinical day per week and also just a wednesday lecture. The first 3 weeks of the term you have to be on saddleback campus for all your class periods because its training in skills before the hospital. After that you goto the campus only for lecture and any extra skills testing days (I think there was 4 total for the entire term of extra days).

Oh nevermind that wasn't you then ahaha. Someone of the same name I shadowed under was trying for gwc. I live in westminster and commute to saddleback. Its technically only 1 day a week of class at saddleback campus but the clinicals are close to where we live, like hoag and st joseph, for the other days.

Hello maddybee! I have to put the vote in for saddleback because I have zero complaints about the program thus far. I just finished my first semester there and I can't wait to start my second. The professors have been nothing short of outstanding and go out of their way to make sure you will be successful. If I'm not mistaken by your screenname here, I believe you were the PCA I shadowed under back in february this year too haha

I just happened to catch this thread in the corner of my eye but would like to thank everyone for their motivating responses =) The OP's situation resembles mine very closely, I'm first semester in the program, male, 6'4", have a previous bachelors in biology through which I did poorly on gpa (2.6ish), seek to eventually be a crna down the line after exhausting all critical care excitement that normal registered nursing has to offer, and also don't want to "play in poop" as it was stated =P It's definitely great to hear how it gets better! I got slightly swayed when in the beginning of my second week just now we are learning all about ostomy care, catheters, perineal care, bed pans, and removing fecal impactions. Of course I understand these are the basic requirements of life and nurses are the one's to be there for the patients needs when the patient is vulnerable and can't fulfill these needs by themselves, however THAT particular part of nursing is really not in my bag of interests and it's good to know that after those dues are paid (and done with understanding, care, and professionalism) there's light at the end of the tunnel.

My friend who unfortunately didn't get accepted this round had an in-depth conversation with the nursing counselors in the office

Ok so apparently the Highest points was 85, and the lowest score for someone that got accepted was 69.
