It seems they changed pre-reqs and there are only 5 classes now. BIO202 and BIO205 are co-reqs now as well as ENG101.

They are also no longer accepting provisional applications.

I am a little confused to as to wheather Bio 156 is a pre-req or not. When it list general education pre-req's it show Bio 156 and then when it lists what is considered a complete application it is not there. I know it is needed as a pre-req for Bio 201 but I have gotten into that course without Bio 156. If they were going to take provisional applications I would be able to apply this semester with the changes.

Ok nevermind I think I answered my own question. On the application it actually doesn't list Bio 156 as a pre-req.

Hmm I guess this is good! I'm halfway through BIO201 and CHM130 right now. Unfortunately I haven't taken Psy101 yet. However I can accelerate this class at Rio Salado, so hopefully I'll be able to apply by March! Woohoo!

How is CHM130 so far? Where are you taking it? PSY101 is super easy. I only have CHM130 left then.

I'm taking CHM130 at Rio Salado (like all my other pre-req's). It's going good so far, I have 96% in both the lecture and the lab. You have to send in a lot of assignments by mail, which is really cool, because you get it back all corrected by your instructor. There's lots of feedback. It's really not that hard a class, I usually spend about one day/week on it. I have my midterm next week! :)

I also just registered for PSY101 at Rio. That way I can accelerate the class a couple of weeks and apply before March 31st and before April 4th to the Banner Nurse Fellows. This is pretty awesome! :)

Good for you. I was going to take BIO202 and ENG101 next semester, but now I am thinking to include CHM130 as well. How is chemistry compared to algebra, harder/easier, more/less work? I am just not sure if it is going to be too much for me since I am working full time.

I would say CHM130 is harder than Math. I did take MAT142 (which is honestly easier than MAT120) at Rio Salado as well. Math only required me to take a test every other week. CHM130 requires a lab report every week, and an online or written quiz every week.

I don't know if you could combine all three with working full-time. I am taking those three classes together right now (BIO201 instead of 202), but I work part time (2 days a week). I guess if you spend pretty much all your free time on studying it is possible! Good luck!!

Thank you. Now I do not know what to do. I should maybe give it a try and if it is not working, drop it. I do not like the idea of spending all of my free time studying as I have kids. I am such a crammer and I only study 2-3 days before the test.

Well, I guess it all depends on your situation. Could you maybe work part time for only three months? Do you work 5 days/week? If you work only 3 (12hr shifts) I think you can manage to do three classes. It really depends on what kind of student you are and how your time managing skills are... I hope it works out!

No, I cannot work part time. I work 4/10 and have every Wednesday off.
