Congrats on passing!!!! I heard last week that I got in for Fall....the deadline to apply is the 19th....so I am not sure when interviews will start.

the CNA program at CAC is great. I had a great teacher and I learned a lot and passed the boards the first time right out of school.

thank you for the CNA info. I hear they really do have great Teachers that take the time to really make sure you understand the info. hope this is true!!!! lol

Do you guys or gals : ) know what the CNA schedule is like? do they offer an evening course?

They offer a day class, evening class and a Saturday class. I took the day class and it was Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 2:20 pm. We did clinicals on Tues and Thurs all day. The evening class did them at night. I have no idea when Saturdays does theirs.

I am in the CNA program right now for the SAT class at CAC and we are just finishing up the midterm and clincials will be starting. Hrs are from 8 to 4(ish) and clinicals are the same. We have 8 weeks of class 8 weeks of clinicals, 1/2 at Nursing Home 1/2 at a Hospital. So the experience sounds like it'll be great. I live in maricopa now and I think CAC ends up being the easiest to get to around here.

Have any of you gotten your immunizations done around here?

I have no insurance so I'm searching for the best place & lowest price to get them done for the CNA program. We just moved to Maricopa 2 weeks ago, so I'm not too familiar but google has helped LOL

I went to my doctor only to find out that my insurance didn't cover it because they were adult immunizations. So cost me about $350 for them. Which I think is crap!! Something like $250 just for the tetnus
