Mayo New Grad Residency Feb 2018

Haven't found a thread for 2018, so I thought I would start one. Anyone else apply to the residency at mayo hospital?

Hey guys!! Congrats to everyone that got a call for an interview! My application says "in review" still but I didn't receive a call yet :( Wishful thinking that they'll call me Monday!! :saint:

In the past, calls have been offered over days-weeks so it's definitely a possibility. Good luck!

That's awesome! From previous forums it looks like a one interview process. As for questions I'm not sure I would definitely practice your usual interview questions. However from previous forums I've also read they were asked a couple questions that threw them off... so maybe search some sample nursing interview questions online. Good luck! Let us know how everything goes!

I applied to all 3 positions and it says application in review. I currently hold an ADN, but thought I'd give it a shot even though the chances are slim! I just accepted a job with Banner so I'm out of the contest. Good luck everyone!

I applied for all 3 positions: ER, MED SURG, and ICU.

I received a call on November 2nd for an interview! Yay. Oddly, they didn't say for which position(s).

However, today I received emails from ER and ICU saying that they are looking at other candidates. Additionally, my status updated to "no longer being considered" under these 2 areas.

So...it looks like my interview is for Med-Surg only. Nevertheless, I am super excited about this.

My application for the Mayo AZ program was rejected, but I just got a job offer from Mayo MN!

For those w/ interviews, make sure to prepare behavioral question answers. The website link they send you on interviewing w/ Mayo does a pretty good job of telling you what to expect. Or at least it did in my case.
