Maricopa Wait List Question

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hello, (I hope this is the right place to post) I was wondering if anyone could tell me or approximate where I might be on the waiting list. My time/date stamp is 12/09 8:03, and I've filled out all five choices. I think there were about 2100 people on the waiting list then. And does the 3 to 4 semester wait count summer semester, or only fall and spring semesters?

Also, I didn't want to spend the next year or so not taking any nursing classes, since I've done all my pre-reqs and co-reqs. Are there any CNA courses starting in the summer, I might apply to?

Thanks for your help. :)

Wow! Really! I applied in June. Could I possibly be in by Jan.'16?

Yes you possibly could be place Jan. A lot depends on the cohorts you have listed and the number of students they have room for.

Ditto this. I know placement for fall started in May, so it seems you barely missed the cut for fall. I'd say you definitely have a chance at spring.

Thanks guys! Hoping for spring '16!

Is anyone in block 1? If so, which college and how long were you on the waitlist?

I just got placed for fall and my time stamp is from August 2014. So less than a year for me.

However, I applied for Spring CEP so I won't actually be starting this fall because I'm doing the CEP.

Which college did you get placed in? Less then a year is great. I'm hoping for Spring '16.

They placed me at Glendale evening for fall. I'm doing the CEP with Estrella in spring though. My 3 choices were Estrella, Glendale traditional, and Glendale evening/weekend.

What colleges have the most openings? My choices were mcc traditional, mcc evenings, chandler-gilbert, & SCC.

I know that Phoenix campus takes a lot I want to say close to 60 (don't quote me on that though). I know for sure that Glendale and EMCC only take 30 students for each cohort. I want to say that mesa and SCC take a good amount. That's all I can remember from the numbers before they placed people this last cycle. Sorry it's not more specific.

You have to take into account that that number drops after they place the cep students, which get placed first.

Actually, the spaces for CEP students are already deducted from the numbers shown on the placement page. SCC can take 90 total students per cohort. But on the placement page, it will only show roughly 60. This is because the other 30 are either CEP or from a hospital affiliated with SCC.
