With the rapid growth of the site, we are once again expanding our team in order to address the increased workload. Judi, aka traumaRUs, has been hired as part-time Community Manager Assistant to help meet these needs. As Community Manager Assistant, Judi will assist the Community Manager as they work together along with the rest of the team to develop and implement my vision and goals for allnurses.com.

In her role as Community Manager Assistant, some of Judi's functions will include:

  • Assisting with implementing ways to encourage and help new members engage with the community
  • Looking for creative ways to increase the number of article submissions throughout the site and new writers from the membership.
  • Assisting with reviewing/approving/managing articles/projects submitted by the Nurse Writers as directed by the Community Manager
  • Assisting with special community projects aimed at increasing content quality, user engagement, and traffic.
  • Monitoring forums and maintaining a level of professionalism throughout the site, intervening when necessary to promote harmony among the members.
  • Helping address issues/questions posted in Help Desk/Zendesk.

Judi has been a part of the allnurses community since 2000, first as a member and then as staff. She became a Moderator in 2005 and an Administrator in 2008. Judi brings valuable experience and knowledge to the team with more than 22 years of nursing experience, as well as her in-depth awareness of site operations.

It's been a pleasure working with Judi over the years. Know she will do an outstanding job in this new role.
