Update on jobs for new grads

How is the job situation looking for new grads? Anyone found jobs? Who's still looking?

There are no RN jobs in the Birmingham area. Most hospitals are on hiring freezes and even nursing homes aren't hiring. It's been this horrible for over a year

You must be looking in the wrong place. Brookwood has several jobs posted, including ICU.

I have been looking in the Huntsville area still no job offer. I must have applied for about 100 hundred jobs and out of those only one call back and I didn't even get that one. Good luck to everybody that is going through this.

I've applied EVERYWHERE in central alabama. And I do mean EVERYWHERE. I've had one interview and did not get the job. I hope it gets better soon!!! It stresses me out!

I am in NY and I can not find a job. Six people in my class have a job. It is so frustrasting!!!

I haven't found a job yet. I have gotten calls and a few interviews but then they end up going for someome with more experience. I don't have any at all. :-( But I'm not giving up.

Baptist health in Montgomery Alabama is hiring..baptistfirst.org. I graduated earlier this month.I didn't expect to get the job being though it was my first application and interview..but they offered me a position..

yes they have many job openings check there webpage. I will be working in the OR as a perioperative Nurse.
