Jeff State Fall '09 Hopefuls??

Is anyone waiting on letters from Jeff State for Fall "09???????:zzzzz

Has everyone already gotten books and started on calculations?? I'm trying to enjoy the last bit of freedom but don't want to get too far behind! What's been the hardest thing so far on calculations for those that have started??

I started on the worksheet last week. I did not have any problems until I got to the IV calculations. I don't know why I am stumped. I guess I really haven't spent enough time on them. Most of the others came pretty easy. Let me know when you get started & see if we can help each other. PS, I have taken a break from them this week - I plan on starting back over the weekend.

I'm telling myself I'm starting Sunday. I seriously need to. Procrastinating is not a good idea...haha. Hopefully the IV stuff won't be too difficult. I'm going to go ahead and start memorizing stuff for the medical terminology since the first test is so soon too. Anyways, only 2 more weeks until the craziness begins! AHH!!!

What book is the medical terminology test from? Now is prob the only time left we will have to procrastinate for the the next 18 months!!!! Thanks for reminding me about the med terms test. I dont have my books yet but I can use the ones in the library to get started .....

It's called Exploring Medical Language 7th edition by myrna lafleur brooks. Let me know if you can't find it. I can scan it and email it to you if I need to! I'm just going to get started making notecards. It doesn't look difficult I just know we'll be so busy I'd rather have the notecards done now. Haha. Totally random but you are sherri from CPR class right??

Hi Courtney,

Yes its me, Sherri! I would really appreciate you sending me the info if it is not too much to scan! I would love to start on my notecards i/o working on calculations for awhile. I can send you the info I have found on calculations so far. Maybe that will give you a jumpstart too! My email is [email protected]. Looking forward to classes with you!

Haha. I totally thought it was you but wasn't sure! I'll send the terminology stuff to you either tonight or tomorrow. It may be a couple of emails since the chapters are long!

Wow. I'd not thought of the term at all. When is that test?

I've been preoccupied with getting another job and pharmacology, since I have math-phobia. :/

Wee! I just opened my terminology book- and it came with pre-printed flashcards!

You must've gotten the bundle too!!! Yeah mine came with flash cards too but I'm just going to start reviewing. The first test is September 7th or the Tuesday after Labor Day. I want to get ahead while I still have time before we sell our souls on August 24th for the next 5 semesters. Haha.

Yeah, I did a lot of looking around, and the bundle really was the best price-- plus, I'm a total techie and was totally won over by the ebooks. I study best when there's a computer program to help- mostly because I'm so hands on about stuff. I think in 3-d if that makes sense.
