Texas Service Center Tracker for I-140

World Immigration

Published

Please feel free to post here the date when your I-140 petitions were filed and are handled by this Service Center.

Hopefully, this thread would serve as a tracker or updater on how long I-140 petitions are being approved by this Service Center.

Note: This Service Center is notably much faster than Nebraska Service Center in processing I-140 petitions.

You may post your case status (SRC-xxxx), when it was filed and your Priority Date (PD) if known.

Thank you.

I visited this site https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=TSC and it was posted there that they are processing cases with reciept notice of august 21 2006.

I thought it mean that ONLY cases with reciept notice before this date (august 21, 2006) will be approve or at least be process? How come some cases filed after this date (august 21, 2006) got approve?

some go through fast and some don't, sometimes it means that your file is incomplete and something is missing

That is just a guide. They have been approving I-140 petitions on much later dates just like you said. Only sure way is to just see your case status online at http://www.uscis.gov by simply providing your case status number.

And it is also mainly dependent upon the attorney that submits the petition. I have seen many that have submitted incomplete files and then USCIS has to request additional information. That always delays things.

For those that have attorneys that do things correctly the first time, their files are completed and approved very quickly, in a matter of just a couple of months.

Remember that the I-140 is for the actual job, it is not about all of your personal information; that is included in the DS-230.

Thanks for starting this thrend. Please I need your advise concerning my status. My PD was April 18 2006, APPROVED May 20 2006. Nothing has been done again , I called my attorney but he keeps reassuring me that it will be done .What else do you think I can do to move forward? My nos starts with SRC, so I,m sure it was filled at Texas. Thank You.

HI, IAM SAVIAN. YOU HAVE TO ASK YOUR ATTORNEY AGAIN, IF IAM TO COMPARE MY CASE TO YOU YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVE YOUR DS-230(BIOGRAPHIC DATE SHEET-PACKET 3) A LONG TIME AGO. MY PD WAS JULY 12, 2006, APPROVED AUGUST 7,2006 THEN I GOT MY PACKET 3 WHICH IS THE DS-230 AUG 26,2006. Hi

Already a thread for this https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/texas-service-center-tracker-i-140-a-206393.html

I was lucky last August I received my approval in 11 days but now things are moving a lot slower. Although not as slow as Nebraska

Will merge this thread to the thread already active. Thank you for understanding.

All the packets this year and the I-140 was just recently filed. No. Hope this is not too harsh for you but this is the honest answer.

There are many more nurses who are way ahead of you and they are either stuck in the US Embassy for interview or stuck in the NVC and for some countries w/c have high demand for visas, there is even a high possibility that the visas will run out even before it hits the nurses as nurses are now lumped along side other fields and these other applicants in other fields are already waiting for years for them to be given visas.
