Hello there, so can I pass my application to Vermont and just make a letter stating I took the local board exam here in the Philippines and still awaiting for the result, will that be alright?

Hi there! So can I just pass my application to Vermont BON and make a letter explaining I took the local board in the Philippines and am still awaiting for the result?

I'm sorry for the double posts.

In my own opinion, there's nothing wrong with it but I think the BON will not give you eligibility since they need to have your license verified in case you pass the local board exam.

Hi, Vermont BON wont be able to review your application until the release of your local board result, if you stated in your letter that you took the test.

Hi, in relation with the application for eligibility in Vermont, may I know if there is an expiration date when they make you eligible to take the exam before registering at pearsonvue? or they require you to immediately register at pearsonvue once you receive your eligibility? Thanx

You can register with pearson anytime within 2 years once they made you eligible. My sis told me, she's for VT also.

Hi, NCLEX examination registration will remain open for a 365-day time

period during which Vermont board of nursing may determine your eligibility.

The time period begins when the board of nursing receives your registration from the test service. Once you are made eligible, you will receive your Authorization to Test (ATT). You must then test within the validity dates printed on the ATT (usually for 90 days for first-time test takers). Once you are made eligible, the 365-day time period for the registration eligibility ends and you must take your examination during the time period stated on your ATT.

Yes, 365 days with pearson and nothing happens, you'll have to pay again but VT will give you up to 2 years to pass nclex.

Oh that's good. 2 yrs to pass he nclex for VT. I'm sure the one asking will be happy to hear this.

Im not quite sure on what youre stating. But from my understanding Vermont and Pearson-Vue are connected with each other. After you have found to be eligible to sit for the Nclex exam, you have to register to Pearson-vue for the ATT, like what I did. If you happen to fail the exam, you wil have 45 days to re-take it (3takes), if you fail all re-takes, you will be required by Vermont to take a refresher course.

i agree with you but the original question was something about "required to register with pearson immediately once vt found the candidate eligible". my sis had similar concern when she got her eligibility and she e-mailed vt about it and the reply was.... she can register anytime to pearson for up to 2 years.
