  1. I'm now using Suzanne's Plan!!!
  2. CONGRATULATIONS !!! I also failed my Nclex exam, (i also reviewed at Kaplan). You really inspire us!!
  3. Good for you! The point is,even you passed the NLE, you didnt register for the PRC, so you have no Phil. License. Thats the thing , they approve Visascreens that have no NLE (2006 Batch). Lucky for me, I didnt take the 2006 NLE. I graduated last April, 2006. I applied for Visascreen and they are still waiting for my Nclex results.:roll
  4. hi, here is the website; http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/. go to foreign nurse application, good luck!
  5. Yeah, I know them, the Gutierrez brothers! They were my classmates! So they have their own website huh, ok Im gonna see their site!
  6. you said it right! im a fatimanian also, graduated last april, 2006 (valenzuela campus). olfu has the best review when it comes to the nclex exam! im about to take the nclex exam here in cali. regards to sir vas!
  7. ok, I got it! so, VT will be allowing 2 yrs to register, ok,good luck to your sister!
  8. Suzanne4 is right, take me for an example, I have no NLE, but i applied for the NCLEX. April, 2006- graduated BSN April, 2006 -Applied for Vermont BON May, 2006- passed IELTS June, 2006 -Received my eligibility letter from Vermont BON June, 2006 - registered for Pearson-vue June, 2006 -got my ATT
  9. Im not quite sure on what youre stating. But from my understanding Vermont and Pearson-Vue are connected with each other. After you have found to be eligible to sit for the Nclex exam, you have to register to Pearson-vue for the ATT, like what I did. If you happen to fail the exam, you wil have 45 days to re-take it (3takes), if you fail all re-takes, you will be required by Vermont to take a refresher course.
  10. Hi, NCLEX examination registration will remain open for a 365-day time period during which Vermont board of nursing may determine your eligibility. The time period begins when the board of nursing receives your registration from the test service. Once you are made eligible, you will receive your Authorization to Test (ATT). You must then test within the validity dates printed on the ATT (usually for 90 days for first-time test takers). Once you are made eligible, the 365-day time period for the registration eligibility ends and you must take your examination during the time period stated on your ATT.
  11. Hi, Vermont BON wont be able to review your application until the release of your local board result, if you stated in your letter that you took the test.
  12. I am following the suggestions of suzanne4 on the nclex review, im on a self review, reading the Saunders 3rd edition (blue cover) and saunder's Q&A (green cover). You can also go to the Nclex discussion forum. I suggest that you wait for your local board results, before you apply at Vermont and also take the English Exam, IELTS or TOEFL-iBT. But I think IELTS is more better bec youll have a one on one interview with an English examiner. Good Luck!
  13. I personally appiled at Vermont w/o a local license. I graduated last April,2006. And after passing my IELTS exam after graduating, I immediately applied at Vermont BON, last May.I attached a letter stating that I am not planning to practice nursing here but am planning to work in the U.S. I followed-up my application by calling them and they informed me to wait for my ATT this week. I also agree with Suzanne4 that witholding any information on the application will definitely pose a problem in the future. :wink2:
  14. Hi, If you dont have a local board license, write a letter to them stating that you intend to practice nursing in the U.S. Then attach your letter to the vermont application.
  15. I think vermont BON doesnt require a local license from a home country like the Philippines, if you dont have one just explain it to a letter to them.
