hey guys! has anyone hear of PINOYCARE VISA CENTER? or who applied their services? I recently attended their orientation seminar here in davao city and they said that the CIC would shell out immigrant visas for nurses for as early as 9 months, is this true?

I understand what you mean. but u have to look ahead and imagine the frustration you will get when you actually spend money and time to a consultant that is not doing their job efficiently and timely.

I suggest you download the application form from the Canadian embassy website. since your cousin already finished with the application, ask assistance from her. youcan always ask us in here with any questions and clarifications. you can finish the process In less than a year that way, or at most just a little over a year. but if you want to hire a visa consultancy, so far I noticed that CIC works faster and are more up to date with following up their clients. that's something I found PINOYCARE failed to do with a lot of their clients... and a lot worst. but don't take my word for it.

since the cap for PR under FSW is full now, I suggest u NOT hire and pay a consultancy firm now. there's a possibilty that by June or July when it opens again, nurses might not be one of their needs anymore. you end up paying a firm for something that is not gonna go anywhere. but at least prepare all the requirements needed just in case you're good to go and start applying by June. check out the Canadian embassy website to have an idea.

I paid PINOYCARE in full last April 2009. they lodged my papers to the embassy December 2009. yes, they promised in their orientation just ONE MONTH encoding then lodging. but what happened was, my papers (complete) were sitting in their office for 8 months. keep in mind, I called them time and again (long distance) and it still took that long. I paid them in full ha. imagine now, they recruit applicants a few times in a week, every week in different places in Philippines. every time, people sign up. I don't know how they even take care of all those applicants nowadays.

hi everyone! :)

could you please help me on how to improve my job description?

what are the things i should and should not place in my resume?

thanks! :)

The Canadian government is running ads right now telling people NOT to believe immigration consultation firms that promise to get you here with or without a job.

hi everyone,

PINOYCARE opened a branch here in zamboanga city late 2010. March 13,2011 they re-conducted an orientation. It was really convincing. But i have checked the CIC website and tried their assessment tool. It was said that RNs reached its maximum. but how come they still included it among the list of skilled workers during their orientation? I wanted to apply and sign for their service. But I also have doubts of doing so. If ever i would decide to do it myself, where can I find for a reputable job offer for a nursing job in canada? Any agencies that you know? I know that there are lots of things that I must comprehend regarding this matter that is why having an agency would be of great help. But reading thru these countless threads made me think twice. Does anybody out there know someone who had successfully left for canada under PINOYCARE? march 16 is the deadline they gave for for those who want to avail the spotcash of PHP 55,000. Again, i wanted to, but I have doubts. Its not only me, but thousands out there. We need help. i know somebody out there is willing to share their ideas and experiences.

RN's are on the skilled workers list and the cap was reached in Dec 2010 and may reopen in June 2011 however we don't really know until the list is released. There is no way round the cap unless you have arranged employment which at the moment may be hard as a lot will depend on the province you plan on living in

I attended their orientation yesterday. and as what everybody mentioned, their presentation was very convincing and got me to the point of crying because all the while I thought my prayers were answered. Specially when the speaker mentioned about the money that she will lend for the settlement fund.

Now, i dont know... I am really depressed and dont know where to start again...

Actually, I really can do everything by myself, like filling up the forms etc, but the only problem is the MONEY for the proof of funds... Oh no...

Hi, guys! I attended the Pinoycare orientation last March 19, 2011 at Richmond Hotel and your right that it's pretty convincing..

I want to sign up but i'm hesitant since i'm not sure if they really keep their promise..

Does anyone know a relative or friend that is already in Canada because of Pinoycare?

Help please...

You will probably find it isn't allowed for them to lend the money required for Canada. Canada needs to know that you can support yourself for x amount of months/years and not expect to claim benefits you haven't yet paid into because you haven't worked if anything should happen and you lost your job.

I strongly advise anyone who is decided to emigrate to stay wary of agencies, especially those who are making "promises". Believe me, they cannot expedite the process in any way nor influence rulings/decisions in your favor.

Canadian immigration is pretty straightforward, and it is somewhat a do-it-yourself thing. However, recent changes in immigration policies have made it longer for certain professions and much more limited in number than the recent past. So using an agency in this case will not be any different.

I can guarantee you they are good in one thing and that is ripping off people of their hard earned money, and their marketing ploy are well designed to convince and deceive. Just be very very careful.

The proof of funds is very important for starting immigrants and it is meant for this purpose, and I can say that it has helped me and my family during our transition, specifically during the critical first year.

I am a newbie , I attended the orientation for pinoycare and i fortunately won a 50 percent discount for processing fee i have til tomorrow to decide... please give me some ideas

What are the steps in applying an immigrant visa alone i can't find them on CIC.

I am a 22 year-old single with one year working plus volunteer experience.

what is included in pinoy care kit?

For PR under the Federal Skilled Workers cap for RN has been reached and may be in the new list in June, this means you can get all your paperwork together and pass IELTS ready for when the list is published because if RN is on the list and you have your paperwork all ready you can send it straight away to Sydney Nova Scotia to be processed. Going with an agency will make no difference as the cap is complete until June.

Here is the link for CIC FSW which also includes the forms to be completed as well as a guide on how to complete them http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp
