NVC does not know whats happening!

Just checked my case with NVC and they(call center) told me that they (NVC) have not sent my papers for CP since my pd is aug 2004 and they are processing june 2002! I asked about the newly released visa bulletin for scheduled A workers, she said that she do not know that as far as she knows, my case is being processed under E3! what the H___! Is this is what's really happening or that agent do not know anything? does someone know what's happening?

Am starting this thread to track cases that has been sent from NVC - CP - interview schedule to know the developments of the processing as a result of the ammended june visa bulletin.

Your experienceand input is very much welcome

just like to ask what packet 3 is all about? i'm mixed up with all these packets infos... i'll be gladly delighted if you could share your knowledge about this.

I guess your a nurse for consular processing. Have attached the following links for your reference. It used to be packet 3 but now it's called Instruction Package for Imimigrant Visa Applicants (IPIVA)

For those of you (including me) whose waiting for the interview schedule for US embassy, Manila to be posted, I think they will update the schedule within the week to reflect July 2005 schedules.

The pdf schedule was updated last march 21, 2005 to indicate may and june schedules.Maybe June updated sched will reflect July, Aug and Sept sched.

Finally! NVC knows what they are doing.

Just got off the phone and finally!, NVC is aware of schedule A and they also know that it is current. When I checked my case the NVC agent told me that my file/case is completed and waiting for an interview schedule. I said how long should I wait? She said that the interview schedules are released evry first two weeks of the month. So for the July interview schedules, it (appointment letters) was released last June 1-15. The lady asked me to call on July 15 to check with them. Although the lady do not want to confirm(playing safe) she hinted that I might be included in the interview schedules to be released on July 1-15.

As I mentioned before, the interview PDF in the US embassy Manila may not be updated because NVC is the one releasing the interview schedule thru appointment letters coursed thru your agency.

called Us Embassy manila this morning and they told me i am scheduled for a preliminary interview on July 15,2005 i have to have all the papers at hand on the that day. Well i have been waiting for the updates from my agency but unfortunately i seemed to be ahead of the news from them. The embassy told me they have sent a letter last June 13 since my address falls to the agency they haven't called me if they have received any letter.

Anyone here who went through preliminary interview? Please share your experiences.

Were you able to send a copy of the visa screen to NVC? My guess is no, so the preliminary interview will be the presentation of all the documents, once completed then they will ask you to go for a medical and then schedule you for another interview for you to get the visa. Just make sure that you also complete tha vaccination requirements including your dependents if you have any. Have 1 friend who also received an appointment letter (initial interview) and another friend who received an appointment letter but indicated that they go for a medical exam already (in this case, they sent a copy of the visa screen to NVC)

My agency informed me that the Visa Screen copy was sent together with the DS230 form forwarded last year October. I have someone with the same status in the agency and she was informed by the operator to go through PE and then have the interview, she hasn't received the letter either. The operator I have talked with in the US embassy call service center told me to wait for another week to receive the letter mailed last June 13, she is not sure if i am to take PE first before the interview. So I will wait for another week to have the letter at hand and follow the instructions written there. The only thing for me now is to wait for another two weeks to really confirm what to do.

So I guess you qualify for the medical schedule because you mentioned that your documents are complete. I think thats the best thing to do now, wait I hope you can share your experience once you receive the letter. Thanks!

is it required to submit the visascreen to the NVC, bec my agency did not tell me if they have submitted the visascreen with the ds-230 to the nvc.

Yes VSC a copy of your should be forwarded together with the DS230. RIght now it is very important to have the VSC because it is one of the ways on how the NVC and Consulates determine if you are under SCHedULE A.
