Yuba College Nursing - Fall 2025

Hi everyone! I am planning on applying to the nursing program for Fall 2025. This will be my second time applying. I created this so we can ask questions and help each other! Is anyone else applying for Fall 2025?

There is conflicting info about the influenza vax. On the slideshow from orientation, it said that all requirements for Complio (except the drug screen) need to be done by 8/1. However, on the Complio requirement page, it says that the flu shot must be received no earlier than 8/1....

We will have time to submit it when the current season vaccine is available

I got my flu shot in October 2024 and it was accepted.

For the new season flu vaccine 2025-2026 it will be available in late Summer early fall usually around October.

Yeah, I'm still pretty confused as to what we're supposed to do. Maybe I'll call tomorrow.

Regarding the flu vax: I just talked to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] and she said that we need to wait to get it until after August 1. It's OK if Complio says noncompliant for that when we start. As long as we have it by the end of October we are good.
