Yuba College Nursing - Fall 2025

Hi everyone! I am planning on applying to the nursing program for Fall 2025. This will be my second time applying. I created this so we can ask questions and help each other! Is anyone else applying for Fall 2025?

Hi, I have Medi-Cal as well and they didn't have any issues giving me vaccines or my tests. I have found that if you tell them what it is for and that you are under a deadline, they are pretty good with getting you in.

I originally had my PCP order my titers, had them done at Quest and found out I needed to get a varicella vaccine. I was able to schedule this at Walgreens and it was free. My PCP then recommended public health for the TB tests. When the semester starts I will not be completely compliant as I have to wait until the 13th of August to get the my second PPD because I got the varicella vaccine (I didn't know this was going to be a problem at the time). I explained this to NAHP and they were very understanding. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

Thank you for your insight. I'm sure everything will work out despite these wait times. They seem to be very understanding. For me, I think I will have to get an X-Ray for the TB test due to a positive reading in the past. I'm not sure if Medi-cal also covers this. But if anyone has more knowledge about this circumstance, please let me know.

Are you guys taking the tests at the end of the ATI modules?

Hi everyone. Am I the only person who is finding it impossible to locate the clinical compliance module in canvas? I see the clinical compliance quiz, but I don't see the instruction for the quiz. I don't see any module titled clinical compliance.

I don't see it either. I wonder if its going to be all the powerpoints and policies from Rideout that we got in email.

I have only done the Classroom skills module, but I did take the quiz. I hope we're not being graded on these. There was some info on the quiz that I never heard anything about during the module and the highest score. I have been able to get in like six tries is 86.7. 😒

Are we supposed to be taking notes on all these ATI modules? I am, but it's a ton of information already! I've spent hours on this and still have 7 more modules... I thought the first day was supposed to be low stress. 😂

I'm not sure if we should be taking notes but I don't think it will hurt. I hear you, I have about six left LOL

It sounds like the grades on these quizzes don't count though 🙂

"You must complete each lesson and Test. These tests are not graded, they are for you to assess your understanding of the material."

I've been trying to find the module for hygiene/ bed making on ATI but I can't find it anywhere has anyone done that one yet?

It's in the Skills Modules under Hygiene. Open up Hygiene and navigate by the sub items on left to bed making
