Yuba College ADN 2021 Hopefuls

Hello everyone! I just finished my prerequisites and will be applying for Yuba College's ADN program next month. I didn't see a thread for 2021, so I thought I'd start one. Hopefully, anyone else who is applying for the program can gather here to find support and encouragement. ?

I read under FAQs that generally two unit classes unfortunately don't transfer, but three unit pathophysiology classes should be evaluated. Has anyone taken the same pharmacology course and was able to use it as a prerequisite for Yuba College? I am upset that I might have to retake the same class again. ?

I took Pharma at sac city college and it counts

Did you take AH 124? It's a two unit class. Though it says on their website that it generally gets denied, I'm still going to reach out to a counselor just in case.

what is crc? cosumnes river college?

I took Pharma at sac city college and it counts

 

PS I DO NOT understand posting etiquette on here, am I doing it right?  you have to hit the quote button?  What is AH 124 and at what school?   I am applying to yuba, scc, sierra, arc and I am so confused because everyone basically wants the exact same things except each one is a tony bit different.  Id prefer them be 100% different

definitely ask, but when I asked last year they said that it needed to be at least 3 units.

Using the quote button is a good way to answer a question posted here. It makes it easier for other people to refer to the question instead of going back. 

Anyway, I took AH 124 Pharmacology for Health Care Practitioners at Cosumnes River College thinking that I could use it to apply to some nursing schools. It is a two unit class, and on Yuba College's nursing website, it says that they don't accept 2 unit Pharmacology classes. Samuel Merritt on the other hand accepts the 2 unit Pharmacology class. I agree, some schools prefer this class over the other, which makes things a lot more complicated.

hi everyone! I just got accepted in today as well as my friend. I was alternate number four and she was number five! so keep your fingers crossed everyone don’t lose hope!
