Yuba College ADN 2021 Hopefuls

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone! I just finished my prerequisites and will be applying for Yuba College's ADN program next month. I didn't see a thread for 2021, so I thought I'd start one. Hopefully, anyone else who is applying for the program can gather here to find support and encouragement. ?

I don’t think you can find it - I’m one of the students in the first semester so I just know :)

haha I remember that feeling too well! I was number 4 and my friend was number 5 also at 69.5 points. We had 6 alternates get pulled up. I was pulled up the week before the semester started along with numbers 5 and 6. Get your immunizations done (will make life easier when you’re in) & keep your fingers crossed!!

I'm just so freaking close!  I was hoping since sac state and sac city made decisions more spots would open up.  Luckily I just got my immunizations for phlebotomy.  A week before?  ahhhhh so much suspense.

I thought the same thing. even though it’s announced early soooo many people don’t make the decision till the last second! Some accept the spots from other schools AND yuba and then drop one right before! It’s truly a waiting game. Good luck!

Does anyone know how far into the semester they will add and alternate?  Like if someone decides it isn't for them one month in

Maybe a week? I’m not sure but honestly you wouldn’t want to miss more than a week just based on the overload of information. And missing a week would already make the entire semester very stressful because it’s near impossible to catch up once you fall behind.
