Hi! has anyone applied to Yuba's ADN program for Fall 2020? If so, has anyone received their notice if they were accepted?

Hi,

Is anyone going to apply to yuba ADN program for Spring 2021? If yes, please share your grades and TEAS score.

Some of you have wondered why someone would accept a spot at Yuba and then pass on the program. I can't speak for everyone but in my case, if I choose to pass, it will be because I've been accepted to another program. I currently have accepted a position at Yuba. I'm still waiting to hear from Samuel Merritt. SM is not sending out acceptances until mid-July. If I'm accepted into SM then I have to choose between two very different programs. ABSN vs ADN. Twelve months vs twenty months. Lastly, the tuition is insane at SM. It's going to be a difficult decision for me. I've been very impressed with how Yuba has been handling Covid and the necessary changes. But, I'd really like to have the BSN. On the other hand if I do the ADN program then I could do an RN to MSN because I already have a BS in another major.

Idaudist, did you get accepted into SMU? ?

The first acceptance letters just started going out this morning. They are very late sending them. So far I know 5 people have been accepted. I've yet to hear anything.

Did you ask Gloria If there’s been any more movement in the alternate list?

Thought about it today... Summer hours; they are closed on Fridays, LOL! I think the last time I called was somewhere around June 7.. so fingers crossed! I will call her on Monday! I know some people get called last minute- but it would be nice to plan.. do you know if they are starting your semester online? Or have you gotten any info for the first day?

So far, we’ve been told lecture will be online and our clinicals at the nursing home are canceled. So it’s looking like Monday on campus 8-12 and T/W on campus in the lab 8-4 the entire semester

For those of you that were hoping I'd give up my spot, sorry it's not happening. I will be attending Yuba, not Samuel Merritt.

I think Yuba is going to be a great experience!! I’ve heard a lot of people so say they were happy they went through yubas program! Which group are you in?
