7 yrs working as RN is SG

Hi ,

I'm working in Singapore for 7 yrs as Registered Nurse , but I don't have degree. Am i eligible to migrate Canada under "skill migration scheme" ?? ( i.e before I'm holding Canada RN license ).

Thanks.

Most provinces in Canada require the BSN now before they will permit one to get licensed there. They do not accept training and experience in lieu of actual hours in a nursing school to meet the requirements.

If Ontario is your first choice, then perhaps completing the bridge program for the BSN should be what should be done first. Going for licensure in another province will still not permit you to endorse or move to Ontario to work later on.

I want to work first then I want to go for BSN. After that moved to Toronto ( relatives staying there ) or maybe settle down at B.C.

Each province sets their own requirements, then you have to deal with finding an employer. The final determination as to what they will accept is up to them.

Be aware that BC could change their requirements at any time, they are expected to follow suit with all of the other provinces in Canada that now require the BSN before they will license anyone.

Best of luck to you.
