No. CABRN would never approve such a program. Also illogical since entry to practice in Philippines is a BSN

I wouldn't rule it out for that reason -- you have to keep in mind how focused PI nursing education is on sending people to the US. Weren't there posts here a few years ago about LPN programs in the Philippines, even though there's no such thing as an LPN in the Philippines?

The programs wouldn't be accredited by CHED and graduates ineligible for licensing in the Philippines and thus graduates ineligible for licensing in several US states.

The Philippines LPN graduates have had significant difficulties getting licensed in the US as a license in the country of education is required (IN is one). Several states have revoked LPN licenses of those who graduated from overseas practical nursing programs as there is no such license in the Philippines as LPN. NJ BoN just enacted legislation that LPN candidates who are educated in countries where LPN is not in existence (such as the Philippines) are not eligible for licensing as LPNs in NJ by exam or endorsement.

I'm aware of all that -- I'm just sayin', the programs are operating in the PI despite all that, so why not the kind of program the OP is asking about? I agree, it would basically be a scam, but that doesn't mean someone wouldn't try to operate one ...

Ok I see what you are saying. I'm saying illogical in that CABRN would never approve such a program (especially while short staffed and trying to review in state programs and the thousands of international & out of state licensing applications) and why waste money if you were unable to attain a license to practice. Then again look at the illegal school in NYC that had clinical rotations in the Caribbean. All the students were duped while the owners raked in the cash while running an illegal unauthorized program.

If if sounds too good to be true it likely is a scam.

There's a very similar posting from the World forum, posters are either the same or ??

Here's that posting: https://allnurses.com/philippines-nursing-programs/2-yr-rn-917424.html
