How valuable is O.R. versus L&D experience? My heart and long term goals are in women services, but I want to make the most of a residency opportunity. Which would you choose and why?

I would choose according to my own interest, not anyone else's. And those would be my dead last choices. I dislike both.

Which is closer to your long term career goals/interests? Choose that one. Both are great opportunities in areas in which it is often difficult for new grads to get jobs. Choose the one that where you would rather work after graduation.
Lol! You dislike both?? What do you do?
Thank you!

In my experience with my students, it was like pulling teeth trying to get a student in an O.R residency. Go for O.R. if you have the opportunity. If nothing else you might see some great surgeries and be awed by human anatomy that cannot be experienced or appreciated by merely looking at illustrations in a textbook.
I'm excited, and it isn't even my residency!
