What area of nursing do you work in? What other area would you like to work in? If you're a student what area do you want to work in when you get your degree?

I work LTC. I was working MR/DD too, but quit to protect my license b/c of various issues there. I would love to get back into MR, but am fortunate enough to work on the Alzheimer's/behavior/MR unit at my LTC facility, so I do get a little of it there.

I now work med/surg floor I have been in nursing several years and have done everything from long term care nursing to administration.My first love is floor nursing caring for people, at this time in my life I'am lucky to only work part time so I look forward to work and because of this I don't feel the burn out that so many nurses do who work full time and overtime. Take time to enjoy LIFE and you will enjoy nursing

ER freak. Always have been, always will be. If I had to change, I think I'd want nursery or peds.

Specializes in NICU.

I am a student. My dream is to work in a NICU (neonatal). I cannot wait! I only hope I can actually get into one when I graduate - they are hard to get into around here.
