Youngstown State University (YSU) and St. Elizabeth Health Center School for Nurse Anesthetists - CRNA 2025

I applied to St. Elizabeth's through YSU and haven't seen any posts about the May 2025 starting class. Drop a comment if you have any information regarding interviews, stats, etc.

How long did it take to hear back after the interview? They said they'd notify me before the first of the year and I can NOT wait that long to hear back, it's driving me crazy.

I think it was within 3 months. I am not sure how they are doing admissions now. They are using that online tool, so it might be long to pull information. What did they say when you will hear back?

The culture is good. This was the only school out of 4 schools I applied that accepted, therefore I was happy just to get into a program.

Stats: 7 years a nurse, 5 years in CVICU (multiple devices certified) CCRN certified. I had a low GPA (3.3) for my BSN, and had a F on one of my classes when I was in community college (not nursing). I got my MSN, GPA 3.8. Volunteered at the hospital as well. 

This program actually took into consideration my MSN. I would ask schools you apply if you do have your masters if they took that into consideration. A lot of them only care about your BSN GPA (and science GPA) as well.

Are the didactic classes online, in person, or both?

They said by January 1st. I was going to call mid-October to check the status, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not.
