Does anybody have any advice surrounding medical recruitment companies?

Worth it or not?

Start local. See if there is anyone recruiting for placements not too far away from to start. As you get more time in, you'll start to get a feel for what works and doesn't. I worked agency for 5 years. After a while, I knew where I was comfortable working and where I wasn't well received.

It really is a hit or miss, and you don't want to be stuck in a contract on a job you hate far from home. That is really tough, and really expensive to get out of.

There was a thread a couple of months ago on this.
