This morning my husband was still asleep in our room with the door shut. As I went to enter our room, I knocked and almost introduced myself! It's been a long week...

Oh yeah I do that all the time. And I say "one two three" for everything. I also think I'm seeing or hearing call bells if I'm tired and have been working a lot.

If I'm really tired I'll sometimes think I'll hear an IV beeping (when I'm at home!) and think, oh great, which room is that? I have also knocked on my own room door before entering.
I work on OB/GYN and the other day I picked up my cat and as I was holding her, I realized I was supporting her head
Sometimes I'll try to stuff things (pens, etc.) into my scrub pockets only to realize I'm wearing a regular shirt that doesn't have pockets on the front.

When you walk back into work and the patients ask you if you slept at all and then offer to share their bed with you haha

You know you've been working too much if you wake up from your sleep..and think "omg I need to go into Mr. So & So's room & change him"..that happened to me last nite lol. Also you know you've been working too much if you start calling your family or friends by some of your residents names lol.
