YOU CAN PASS TOO

Published

I have graduated from nursing school in 2014, and I have not put my all into studying (at the time). I had a baby in 2015 and been at home since then. In between I would take the NCLEX a couple of times. I also went back to the school to get suggestions on what to do and all they said was "you have been out too long I don't know what to tell you," and she directed me to sites I already knew of :( So they wasn't encouraging at all. BUT I KEPT MY MIND ON PASSING!!! I have used Kaplan question bank two times and I listened to the Hurst review, but recently I found a comprehensive review on u tube (summitcollegeNCLEX) it is about 28 hours ( I listened to all of it). Well I never gave up. And I just took my LAST TEST yesterday...TODAY I am officially a RN ;) YOU WILL PASS TOO

Did summit college NCLEX videos helped you refresh the contents? I listened to 2 lectures so far..

what approach did you do different from previous attempts?

Congrats on passing :)

The first time I did listen to Hurst but for some reason it wasn't sinking in. Now with the YouTube my LIGHT BULB came on...I don't know if it's because she repeats the information a lot (I'm not sure) but she goes over more information then Hurst. I listened to the course more then once. I made sure I understood what she was talking about. I believe if you standard everything she goes over you will be covered. My test had a VARIETY and I mean a VARIETY of everything. I'm talking about in the answers to choose from, you really have to know the information. And really pay attention to the WORD choice they use. Example the answer could be 24 hours but they will put 48 hours to see if your really paying attention. Also this time around I would break down the answers and clarify what it was talking about THIS REALLY helped me out in answering all questions even select all s. Let me know if this helps and if any other questions PLEASE let me know...GOOD LUCK YOU WILL PASS TOO ;)

And YES it did help with refreshing the contents

Thank you so much for the reply! True she repeats the info multiple times.. I listen to her when I drive and it does helps big time.. Hurst wasn't sinking either and they don't cover many topics i agree!!!!! I am trying to pass since 2014.. I did listen to strategies videos of kaplan which helped me to break down questions more... :)
