I got accepted to second entry nursing at York University on Feb 6th and I am really excited about it -finally starting something new and fresh :)
I added this new thread for students who got accepted or students who applied and are awaiting a response from York. I would love to befriend new nursing students even before the program starts.

i pray we are in that category who receive mid-may thats like two weeks time,and hopefully the pple who have multiple offers can take up their first choice schools thus giving us seats at york
oh wow I never knew there was a list system I applied mid-January so I'm probably near the bottom ? and I know I have been waiting forever to get in The wait is terrible. Really keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for a positive.
the waittttt is the killer, a watched pot never boils but my goodness i cant help logging into my email each time with one eye closed hoping to see york bla bla just to find the ridiculous york newsletter lol this is mind boggling
same here! All of April every time I received an e mail from York I was hoping it was some good news but it was just about open house registration lol... *sigh* all we can do now is hope for the best and hopefully hear positives for both of us : )
yeahhhh for sure ok this is a new week something good is going to happen for sure.its like its only the two of us on this forum still waiting everybody else has gotten accepted
My transcript will finally be going out this week, so hopefully I hear a positive response before the week is over. Hopefully we get an acceptance together! I feel like I've been waiting forever
I know hopefully soon! I've called the OUAC and my school and they said my transcripts will be released to York within 2-3 business days soo hopefully end of this week or beginning of next week I get a response from York. Best of luck ! Why is your application on hold though ? Have all of your supporting documents been sent ?
good for you atleast by end of this week or next week u get to hear something, as for mine remember when i replied to you saying i applied in oct and it went to the wrong dept and when i called in feb asking abt acceptances then thats when it got transferred to second entry so am at the bottom list like one of the last applications
oh.. I didn't know they had a list system.. because I know some people applied near the end of January and got accepted like early February.. maybe you should try calling and asking what is going on just in case ?
