5 years out of school is it still hopes that I can pass Nclex???

Published

Hello everyone let me start off by saying that I'm so disappointed in myself that I never took the Nclex right after I finished School. I had a few mishaps and it kept me from taking it. I'm not letting anything stop me anymore, I want to become a nurse. I'm tired of talking about it to my friends and family each year and never get it done. I just wanted to know if there was anyone else in the same situation as me that passed Nclex. Please Please tell me what you did to pass. I really need support. I have forgotten so much I already downloaded the 30 page facts sheet please HELP ME. Thanks so much

I think it CAN be done. I also think it will be incredibly difficult. Like some others have said, I'd invest in a refresher class, even if your state doesn't require it.

thank you

I just got off the phone with California State BON, and as long as you have all the classes required you can take their NCLEX as many times and however long it takes you

Being that you want to be a safe nurse a refresher course does not sound bad, and it helps with the studying... good luck to all. ..good luck to me ;)

Congrats on passing!! I needed to know someone else has been out of school as long as me and passed. Can you tell me which time frame you chose to go through the NCSBN review,Was it 3,5,8, or 15 week course?? I'm not sure which one to take.

I went to attend mass for 9 days and pray for st rita of cascia the patron of impossible! And also to st joseph of cupertino. Good luck! God bless you!

Congrats! Thank you very much for sharing your input. Actually I have been reading Saunders 6th edition. It has been very helpful. I'm strong believer in the power of prayer and I am so glad you shared this with me. Thank you very much.
