Every year I have to ask for an evaluation... It pizzez me off because all the other school staff get's one. You'd think after years of asking for one, the administration would take the hint and just eval. me.
Do you get a yearly eval. and who does it ? Have you ever sent out questionaires to the teacher's about your performance ?
I would love to hear from each of you.
Thanks,

We do get yearly eval's from the supervisor of health services for the school system. No eval with our schools administration though. I do not send anything to teachers asking them to evaluate me. I really don't think most have much of a clue what I do on a day-to-day basis anyway, other than the few that bother to ask.

I get a yearly evaluation from my principal. It's the checklist-type form used for the teachers-talks about classroom management, teaching technique, etc. The vast majority is filled in with n/a. He does write a nice comment at the end though!

Don't wait to be evaluated. Submit a self evaluation. You know better what is going well and where you want to improve. Your supervisor will thank you!!!
