Hello allnurses community!

This thread is for those applying to Yale's GEPN (Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing) Program for the Fall 2024 start.

It might be a little early as deadlines haven't been announced yet, but given all of the questions that many of us might already have, one can never be too early!

Just got an email saying decisions will be released next Friday and community scholars decisions won't be released till late January or February

I emailed asking when we would get decisions for admission and the scholarship

They didn't specify the time when I emailed, but did say we will get an email that our portal has be updated so that we don't have to keep checking throughout the day

Does anyone know if merit scholarship info will be in our acceptance letter if we get one?

I don't actually know for the merit scholarship specifically, but I attended their financial aid info session and they said that we wouldn't get our full financial aid offer until January / February. You may have already guessed that since the FASFA doesn't open up until the new year anyways. They also mentioned that the merit scholarships tend to be worth the least of all the financial aid options with an avg of 8k yearly per student.
