Hi everyone!
I have recently accepted a position in the nurse residency program for the Neuro ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital. My start date is July 19th and I was hoping to connect with others who are also doing the nurse residency there! ?

Congratulations! I am a junior nursing major and I applied for the Summer Student Nurse Intern role at Yale and am still waiting to hear back from them. Is the nurse residency role just for new grads?

Yes, nurse residency programs aim to ease the transition from student to licensed nurse.

How did you get this position, did you do your clinical rotations at New Haven?

hey girl! have you heard back from Yale yet? My application still says "Under Review" and it's driving me crazy. I don't remember them specifying a date where they would announce interviews or offers, but I was just curious if you heard anything.
no I havent either! its stressing me out bc I don't know if I should accept my other offer

do you live near the hospital, LOL I live I another state
wow! I live about 30 minutes away from Yale and the other hospital I accepted an offer from.
I still have time to consider my other option, its at UTSW. I love both hospitals but since I already do my clinicals at UTSW, I wanted to explore this hospital

do you know anyone we can contact?
I've been debating if I should reach out to someone in HR or one of their talent acquisition members, but I haven't contacted anyone yet.
