Hi everyone! Wanted to start this conversation for those who are getting ready to apply once the application opens on June 1st 2021.
I am hoping we can all share information, ask questions, and support each other throughout the exciting journey ahead!

Would those who got accepted mind letting us know what their decision timeline is? I’d like to have an idea of when the waitlist might move.
We should receive our financial aid offer letter by 2/4 and need to accept/reject by 2/22.

Congrats to everyone! I was accepted into the Family Nurse Practitioner Program!! I am shocked and so GRATEFUL, wow.
My name is Kaleigh, I am 24 from Boston. I can’t wait to meet you all. Who else was accepted into FNP?
@cpink
For some reason I do not have a button to reply to your comment. I’m on my phone wondering if it’s super simple to find and I just don’t know where to look.
As to Yale or UPENN. I have no idea yet. I think the financial aid package might really affect my choice of attendance. How about you?
I also have a UCSF interview coming up the week of 2/14. I’m from the west coast. So financial aid definitely will play a huge role in what school to choose.
I was accepted into the PNP PC . So both schools have their strengths and weaknesses in regards to what could be offered in pediatrics.
Tough decisions ahead.
Hey all! I realized I never introduced myself. I'm Allie, I'm based in the Bay Area. After spending the last decade in repro rights political organizing, I decided to take the steps to become a repro health provider with an emphasis on abortion access and sexual health. I was a doula and am currently a CNA. I like the outdoors and would be coming to new haven with my very old cat, Mouse. I applied mostly to FNP programs but I applied to Yale's WHNP because of their focus on primary care.
I'm also waiting to hear back from some other schools and will have some tough decisions. I was accepted into Emory and Simmons, and Simmons gave me a great scholarship. I also interview at UCSF (for FNP), and am waiting to hear back from Columbia, UVM and UCLA! Hoping the universe shows me the path I meant to take soon ?

Me neither. I kind of had a gut feeling I wouldn’t get in after my interview bc it went pretty meh. So really hoping I get into Vanderbilt which has been my top choice!
