I've been searching all over for any topics about Wyoming Behavioral Institute, but can't seem to find any all over this website.

I've been offered a job at Wyoming Behavioral Institute in Casper, WY. Their pay seems really decent and their benefits seem good too. Does anyone know anything about working as an RN in this psych hospital, or what living in Casper (living alone with no family) is like?

Anything you can tell me about WBI is appreciated!

Thank you!

I live in a neighboring community. I don't have first hand knowledge of WBI but can tell you they are always running "help wanted" ads.

Hideous place to work, I felt I had no power as an RN there. The techs run the show, it seems like nurses are there for decoration and charting. Poor management as well, but Casper in my opinion is getting worse as a whole. Sorry so negative.:(
